Since I'm graduating, I was informed that I might not be able to keep my firstname.lastname@example.org e-mail address. I'm trying to see what I can do to hold onto it, but for the time being I'd recommend e-mailing me at email@example.com.
I'm an independent security researcher, and for once I'm using that term to mean something besides being unemployed. I recently graduated with a PhD in Computer Science from Florida State University and my dissertation focused on developing new password cracking techniques for law enforcement officials. Despite that I do like to branch out a bit and am a network security engineer at heart. I'm also a huge fan of data driven research. I realize that doesn't mean much, (it's like saying you love puppies rainbows), but it's my way of warning you that I hate making a point unless I have at least two excel graphs backing me up, (and yes I'm lame for not using GNUPlot).
